As we start a new year and I look back on 2011, I am so proud of my little backyard barrel horse! I ended the year in 43rd place in the BBR 2D out of 963 barrel racers, and there is only one mare who carried me the whole way. She’s something special. I am blessed.

Congrats to everyone who did so well and rode their hearts out in 2011! A special congrats to my friend Halie who reached her goal of consistently running in the 1D and ended the year in the top 50 of the BBR standings!
